Doris June Haynie

Mrs. Doris June Haynie, age 79, passed away Friday, September 11, 2020 in Pensacola, Florida.

Mrs. Haynie had resided in Bratt, Florida for most of her life. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed archery, loved crafts and crossword puzzles, etc. She was a seamstress with Vanity Fair and a member of the Bratt First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Jerry Haynie; parents Robert “Jack” and Mae Blanche York; and two brothers, Harold York and Claude York.

She is survived by her two sons, Stan Haynie of Bratt, FL and Tony (Kathy) Haynie of Bratt, FL; one brother, Ronnie (Phylis) York of Little Rock, GA; three sisters, Betty (James) Amerson of Bratt, FL, Gloria Ann Ledkins of Atmore, AL and Peggy (Billy) Mauldin of Atmore, AL; four grandchildren, Brandon Haynie, Derek Haynie, Clayton Stacey and T.J. Haynie; four great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral service is to be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 12:00 Noon at the Bratt First Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Hawsey officiating.

Burial will follow at the Godwin Cemetery.

Visitation is to be held Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 11:00 AM until service time at 12:00 Noon at the Bratt First Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Clayton Stacey, Troy Clemmons, Luke McDaniel, Earl Garrett, T.J. Haynie and Ronnie Macks.

    this is to all of June’s family and friends…we are so sorry to hear of June’s passing..I grew up with June and all of the York family in Bratt.. we lived on Hwy 4 in the house closest to the cross roads near her home…had a lot of good times with them …the YORK family is a great family to be friends with…just plain GOOD people …MAY GOD BE WITH EACH OF YOU IN HIS EVER LOVING WAY…AND COMFORT YOU …
