Chris Wayne Hawkins, Sr.

Reverend Chris Wayne Hawkins, Sr., age 64, of Christian Home, FL, passed away on August 17, 2020, in Pensacola, FL. He was born on December 25, 1955, in Shawnee, OK
to the late D. Wayne and Norma James Hawkins. He served four years of active duty in the US Navy, aboard the USS Lexington. He has been in the Ministry for over 40 years, pastoring many churches since 1980. For the past 11 years, he has been the Pastor of Byrneville United Methodist Church, while employed as a Registered Nurse
with Santa Rosa Medical Center.

He is preceded in death by his parents, D. Wayne and Norma Hawkins.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Vaughn Hawkins of Christian Home community; his two sons, Chris W. (Jaime) Hawkins, Jr. of Davisville, FL and David A. (Savannah)
Hawkins of Verbena, AL; brother, Ted (Laura) Hawkins; sister, Vivian Love of OK and his grandchildren, Taylor, Kara, Kailey, Brayden, Luke and Julie.

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 22, 2020, at Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Vaughn officiating.

Interment was in The Vaughn Family Cemetery, 19755 Vaughn Road in Seminole, AL.

Active pallbearers will be Dave Bashore, Joe Johnson, Bill Weaver, Josh Lee, Glenn Goetter and Tim Hawsey.
