Ardiel G. Morgan, age 94 of Headland (formerly of Walnut Hill, Florida) died Tuesday evening, July 28, 2020 at Westside Terrace.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm Friday, July 31, 2020 at Walnut Hill Baptist Cemetery in Walnut Hill, FL. The service will be conducted by Doug Waters and musical selections will be by Haley Baggette. Family First Funeral Care in charge of the arrangements. Social distancing guidelines will be observed.
Mrs. Morgan was born January 22, 1926 in Baldwin County to the late James Leslie Gee and Flarie Slay Gee. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She was an active member of the Assemblies of God church for many years, teaching Sunday school, serving as president of the WMC’s, and at times choir director. She was also active in the youth ministries of the church and was a member of First Assembly of God in Atmore.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morgan is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James H. Morgan, and a brother, James L. Gee. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Donnie D. and Linda Baggette of Headland; one granddaughter, Kimberly B. Conner and her husband, Dr. Ryan of Dothan; one grandson, Shannon R. Baggette and his wife, Kellie of Mexia. She is also survived by four great granddaughters, and one great grandson, a niece, nephew, and several cousins.

She was a great Lady, a great Sunday School teacher, she was our Sunday School teacher at Walnut Hill Assembly of God church, her and her husband Brother James was good friends of the family,,the family of O.D. and RUBY Gibson
One of the sweetest women I ever had the pleasure of knowing. Wonderful example of true Christian love, her life was a witness to all. I am sure she is chasing James around heaven keeping him out of trouble. Blessed to have known you.
