The governor approved the increase on March 27, 2020. When can the people of Florida expect the increase ? What two months are they referring to ( March & April) or (April and May) ?

I only get 16.00 in food stamps per month I had to go to 4 stores before I found hamburger and it was 21:00 for 3lbs at Harvey’s. I can’t even get milk and bread or anything else for that matter. I went all the way to downtown Gainesville to a food bank that started at 9:00 am , I was there at 9:00 am and they were out of food so now I have no food or gas.

I only get 36 dollars a month in food stamps. And my hours have been cut at my job at chipotle. I’m running out of food. And I have no money for food and cant live off of 36 dollars in food stamps. I sent my last 2 pay stubs to dcf . I hope they are low enough so I can get more food stamps.
When do you think we are getting an increase?

They just made the determination on this Friday. Please give them time to update and put into effect things. You have to realize just like the IRA and other government agencies they are short handed and are not working at maximum capacity

It states families of 4 recieving $449 will get an increase what about families of 3 that dont recieve the max but only $109. A month will they recieve and increase too. And if so when and how much. Every article just takes about families of 4 recieving max benefits.

I’d like to know when this goes into effect, it’s already March 29, and I’ve yet to see any changes in our benefit either. I thought this was supposed to happen “IMMEDIATELY” from what was stated.

But I checked at the site it says to use EBTEDGE and there is no change of benefit. The amount is still the same and the date we get them, April 8 is still the same. They way I understood it from the Governor’s statement on TV and Radio was this was to go into effect immediately.

Seems like everything else that the government says we’re going to get immediately or within a few days, just NEVER happens.

Then the government wonders why we turn against them at times and make nasty comments, well this is just another prime reason it happens.

Open ended promises that don’t come as soon as they claim it will.
