William “Bill” Brandt

Mr. William “Bill” Brandt, age 75, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020 in Pensacola, Florida.

Mr. Brandt was a native of Century, FL, former resident of Flomaton, AL and had resided in Uriah, AL since 1988. He was former owner of Bill’s Truck Stop in Flomaton, AL. He was of the Jehovah Witness Faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl E. Brandt and Maggieline Rigby and brother, Charles Ray Amos.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Charlyn Brandt of Uriah, AL; one brother, Edward Eugene Brandt of Hutchinson, KS; special friends, James (Linda) Selzer of Baldwin Co., AL and Ricky Williams of Uriah, AL and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Elder Richard Ash officiating.

Burial will follow at the Rigby Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 12:30 PM until service time at 2:00 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.

    I just found out and it’s so sad that he passed away. ‘Booger Bear’ was a friend of everybody who knew him. He was a few grades ahead of me in the FHS class of 1964. He was gentle man and a good person. My condolences to his wife and children and to his extended family.
