Kimberly Dorae Bates-Palmer

Kimberly Dorae Bates-Palmer was born in Aliquippa, PA on December 15, 1960, to loving parents, Gwendolyn Bates and Clifton Pugh. She was a woman who devotedly loved her children and grandchildren until her passing on November 21, 2019. She was also a resident of Pensacola, FL since the summer of 1995 up until a year before her death.

She is proceeded in death by her mother, father, Aunt Linda Key, nephew Samil Bates, and dear friend Ellese Jackson Morris.

Kim leaves behind to cherish her great memories two children, daughter, Seanta (Christopher) Evans and son, Durrell (ChaKeita Simpson) Palmer; nine grandchildren, E’Layzha Bates, Shay’Krystala Kidd, O’Nykah Kidd, Du’Kenya Palmer, DuKyra Palmer, DuKayla Palmer, Joseph (Charity) Kidd, Dy’Kendrick Palmer, Lavon Taylor; one great-grandchild (born just hours before her passing) Jaziah Kidd; special great niece, Isis Bates; Dad Robert Bates; four siblings, Juanita Bates-Perry, Roberta Bates, Titon (Summer) Bates and Lavar Bates; special friends, Shawn Palmer, Daniel Golden, Anita Dawkins, Beverly Sessoms, Gwendolyn Tucker, Joyce Jackson and a host of family and friends all whom she loved dearly.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, December 15, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at Sanders Beach, 913 S I Street, Pensacola,FL.

Services will be followed by a balloon release.
