November 12, 2019

Gov. Ron DeSantis has ordered flags be lowered to half-staff until sunset Tuesday in Escambia County in honor of Escambia Fire Rescue District Chief Dwain Bradshaw.  He passed away last week after being struck by a vehicle while on a call on the Muscogee Bridge.

Bradshaw’s funeral is today.

I would like to say thank you to everyone for the love and support of my dads death. It means the world to me that so many people care about our family including the most valuable person in my life grandma Kathy Bradshaw. Grandma and I cant express how thankful we are for every last one of you guys. To Sgt.Mendez, I want to say thank you for being there for me when I needed you the most. I could come to you anytime I needed you and you were there. To Msgt.Whinford, thank you for being there for my dad, for spending time with us, for the motorcycle rides, and most of all the trip to Wendy’s. I also want to thank all the guys overseas right now, thank you for your service and being there, not only for me but the whole country. Thank you all for everything you’ve done for me and the family.
