Escambia School District Names Top 10 Teachers Of The Year

The Escambia County School District has announced their Top Ten Teachers of the Year.
They are, in alphabetical order:
- Kadee Barnett – Beulah Elementary School
- Jacqueline Chabot - Montclair Elementary School
- Mary Kate Griffith – Booker T. Washington High School
- Maureen Harden – Bailey Middle School
- Marlena Lewis – Warrington Middle School
- Michelle Lingo – Bellview Middle School
- Cheyenna Novotny – West Florida High School
- David Vaughn – Navy Point Elementary
- Jodi Woods – Ransom Middle School
- Tamika Wyrick – Sherwood Elementary School
The Escambia County School District’s Teacher of the Year will be named at the Golden Apple Awards in January.

Congratulations to the finalists, and to the Teachers of the Year at each school. Thank you for your hard work! Teaching children with excellence is building a future for all f us.
I think there should be one teacher of year from each school in the district. Teachers work hard and I see so many go unappreciated. They should only be allowed to win once…
Escambia County School District is blessed to have so many wonderful, caring,articulate professional teachers..all are winners …but even more so…their students are the true winners!..CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!
