Cantonment Man Charged With Assaulting His Fiancee
November 6, 2019
A Cantonment man has been charged with assaulting his fiancee.
Christopher Aaron Gassman, 29, was charged with battery, battery by strangulation and assault.
He is accused of grabbing the hair of his live-in fiancee, bashing her head into a sink and floor multiple times, choking her, and threatening to kill her, according to an Escambia County Sheriff’s Office arrest report.
As Gassman chased the woman, he was tackled by another person in the house and a second person held him down until deputies arrived, the report states.
The arresting deputy reported that Gassman was heavily intoxicated and unable to walk in a straight line after the incident. He was later released from the Escambia County Jail on an $8,000 bond.

Yea, that’s the kind of guy a lot of young girls go for and later wonder why their lives are so messed up.
Alcohol is the devil’s drink.
You are probably right. What a world we live in.
Retired………… He had to go before a judge to get his bond set. He did that on the 4th.
what happened to the NO BOND on domestic violance charge?
She probably bailed him out ! Hopefully they don’t have kids during their ” fiancée relationship” so she can leave once she has enough beatings
When will women learn, you don’t move in or give your body to a man until he is mature enough and man enough to marry and stand up.
Anyone wanna bet on who bailed him out?
Girl, whoever you are DO NOT GET BACK WITH HIM!!!!
He just showed you how much he truly “loves” you. “but, but he was drunk”…. yet another reason to NOT GET BACK WITH HIM.
What ever caused the rage it is a moot point – if he did it once he’ll do it again maybe with deadly consequences. Move on with your life without this jerk
Unfortunately nothing new with these two. My prayers are with the fiancé (don’t wanna say her name) but hopefully she finally leaves him.
