Cantonment Man, Six Others Charged With Soliciting Sex From Teens Online
November 23, 2019
Seven people, including a Cantonment man, were busted in “Operation Rotten Pumpkin”, an undercover sting that targeted the online solicitation of underage teens for sexual activity.
The seven were arrested after the operation Wednesday and Thursday nights, according to Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Chip Simmons.
Those charged were:
- James David McAllister, 34, Cantonment
- James Patrick Dibble, 20, Pensacola
- Kevin Gerald Dailey, 25, Pensacola
- Benjamin Larry Marshall, 33, Pensacola
- Ronaldo Castro Bautista, 54, Orange Beach
- Michael Dawayne Gulley, 23, Prichard
- Patrick John Bradt, 47, Crestview
Investigators used social media or websites like Craigslist and Skip the Games to pose as 18 or 19 year olds to engage persons in conversation. Then the investigators told the individuals that they were really 13 or 14 years old, according to Simmons.
“Hundreds of people were engaged, but the majority backed out quickly when they realized it was a 13 or 14 year old boy or girl,” the chief deputy said. The seven charged and another dozen or more continued the conversations and in some cases exchanged pictures. Those charged drove to a predetermined location under the pretense of a sexual meeting with the underage children but were instead met with deputies and the SWAT team. The investigation into other individuals continues.
“The children of Escambia County are not fair game, Simmons said.
“We need to guard our children,” Sheriff David Morgan said. “The are easily seduced into these types of activities.”
Operation Rotten Pumpkin involved the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, Pensacola Police Department, State Attorney’s Office, Homeland Security and the sheriff’s offices from Santa Rosa, Walton and Okaloosa counties.

Here we go… catch and release cause their Americans. Really!
In all fairness Alan…..it is extremely unlikely that someone gets caught the first time they attempt a criminal activity.
THE most severe penalty in Australia is life without parole.
It’s reserved for the very worst of criminals including serial killers, murderers, repeat sex offenders and pedophiles
Relocate to Australia ….then there is no release, poor me, rehab a pedo program…because no program exists to stop these monsters
Any person that says but…but…is no better to make ANY excuse
This pedo crew along with many others lurk among children each day. Many children do not know what is go on and the PEDO counts on that.
Send them to North Korea….they love American PEDOS…FOR ABOUT 2 SECONDS
What is bad, they didn’t get arrested because they did nothing wrong. Right?
Wrong. THESE PEDOPHILES are all around you every day . In stores, churches, scolls, law enforcement, no section of society is immune from these freaks of filth.
The Vatican is loaded with them..no place is safe.
It is always a pleasure to read the comments from the “guilty until proven innocent” crowd on this site.
mcallister was a freaking teacher at EWMS!!!!! c/2020 knows him and he creeped most of the girls out!!!!
String em up
@ Anne…. this is the modern age where people are trolling for immediate gratification aka sex ASAP! This is not looking for a long term courtin’ romance with your folks consent! Why would you be comparing your family to perverts is beyond comprehension!
I dont believe these scumbags deserve a hearing or a cell in our jails, they have tried to lure or maybe have lured some of our children into their sick little world and that’s not ok with me. I believe they should be CASTRATED and left to bleed to death or hung on a Saturday am so everyone can see that our system is working to protect us and not them. SAVE OUR CHILDERN OF THIS CRUEL AND SICK SOCIETY WE ARE LIVING IN!!!
My father was not the scum of the earth! Neither was my X husband. We married in another time and liked older men.
Omg this is the best thing I have ever seen! Get them pedophiles outa here. Quit harassing people about weed and get the sicko Chester’s off the streets!!! Makes me proud to know your protecting the kids.
James David McAllister is a former teacher at Ernest Ward Middle school of 13 and 14 year old students….
ELW…..without anesthesia…been saying this for years!! It would certainly slow down the sex crimes against our children. Scum!
Great job by all involved!
James McAllister was the band director at Ernest Ward Middle School 3 years ago
Used to be a time when a Daddy and a couple of Uncles would have taken care of these punks in their own way.
A nice long ride down a country road just about dusk and their perverted souls would find justice.
Too often now we have become “soft” on criminals and those who irreparably do, or wish to do, harm to others who are young.
Make an example that will cause others to have second thoughts.
I know what I would do and never would again would they breath.
But in todays political correctness atmosphere….2k bond….house arrest….5 hours of community service and write a 2 page essay why they are inbred from the best bloodlines
These guys are the scum of the earth. Good job on getting them off our streets
Start Hanging these Low Life’s every Saturday on the square and after 4 weeks there won’ be nobody to hang, They will get the message.. I know his isn’t Long Time Ago but granted, this much criminal activity like this was stopped before it ever got started, You get caught molesting a teenager, odds are you never molested anybody else, It may sound Barbaric but some people don’t learn the first time.
Castrate them. That will put a stop to future individuals thinking of molesting young children.
Scumbags/Dregs of society – prison for you all
