Brush Fire Spreads, Damages Truck And Barn

A brush fire damaged a vehicle and a structure Thursday afternoon in McDavid.
Multiple Escambia Fire Rescue departments and the Florida Forest Service responded to the brush fire in the area of Roach Road and Honeybee Lane about 2 p.m.
The fire destroyed a box truck and damaged a barn. The blaze started with a unattended fire involving discarded tires, according to Escambia Fire Rescue.
There were no injuries reported.
