Strong Storms Possible Monday Evening; Cooler Tuesday

There is a slight risk (level 2 out of 5) of severe storms across the area tonight  due to an approaching cold front. The primary threat is damaging winds.

On Tuesday, we’ll cool down with lows Tuesday night possibly in the upper 40s in North Escambia.

Tonight: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 7pm, then showers and thunderstorms between 7pm and 1am, then a chance of showers after 1am. Low around 60. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 73. North wind around 10 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 47. Northwest wind around 5 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 71. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
