Rain Chances And Wind Speeds Increase Into Saturday

The greatest chance for impacts from Tropical Storm Nestor  will be along the coastal areas with tropical storm force winds possible and isolated flash flooding.  Significant impacts are currently not expected in North Escambia beyond much needed rain and breezy conditios.

Tonight: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Low around 58. Windy, with a northeast wind 15 to 20 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Saturday: A 40 percent chance of showers before 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 57. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82. Calm wind.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 64. Calm wind.

Monday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. South wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Monday Night: Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 1am. Low around 61. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
