Northview Grad North Completes Basic Military Training

U.S. Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Celeste B. North graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

North is the daughter of Catadro and Kimberly North of Atmore.

She is a 2018 graduate of Northview High School.

    Congratulations!! I was at the same place 50 years ago. As your former eighth grade teacher and Air Force veteran, I think you made a good choice. With your great attitude and intelligence you will do great at whatever you choose.
