October 25, 2019

There were no serious injuries when a car collided with a flatbed trailer in Cottage Hill Friday morning.

The collision happened on Williams Ditch Road at Wishbone Road. The force of the crash knocked the axles loose on the trailer that was hauling a skid steer loader.

A juvenile male was reported transported to the hospital by private vehicle.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.

@Donald, the truck might very well have been in his lane. When the car knocked the left side axles backwards three feet the track of the tires TOOK the trailer left just like it had been steered that direction. The truck is nearly off the road to the right. Don’t be so quick to lay blame without seeing the whole picture.

I saw this yesterday…..very happy that no one was seriously injured or killed. That is a dangerous curve on Williams Ditch rd with Wishbone lane going off to the left.

From the pictures, it’s plain to see the driver of the truck wasn’t in his lane. Looks more like he was taking the NASCAR lower lane around the corner of Williams Ditch road.

. We all need to pay more attention to roads and conditions and act accordingly. Hope he is back home by now…

Some one was trusting the implied laws involved with physics and miscalculated.
