Michael Fredrick Tyler, age 67 of North Baggett Circle, Brewton, AL passed away October 20, 2019 at his residence. He was a long-time resident of Escambia County AL and of the Baptist faith. Michael was the Fire Chief of the Appleton Volunteer Fire Department for 20+ years and presiding President of the Escambia County Alabama Association of Volunteer Fire Departments for 10 years.

Michael loved working daily at the Fire Station, as well as working to refurbish old vehicles. He made it a practice of never sitting around and was well known to not quit talking… Mike and his wife/Safety Officer Ginny always had their saying of “Wheels Up” anytime they headed out for a Fire call or just to run an errand….
