Linda A. Jay Johnson, 54, of Uriah, AL, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019, at her residence. She was a homemaker. She was born in Atmore, AL on December 10, 1964, to Jimmy Jay and Margaret Jones.

She is preceded by her mother, Margaret Jones and sister, Charlene Pugh.

Survivors include her husband, Chris Phillips of Uriah, AL; her father, Jimmy Jay of Atmore, AL; three sons, Nicholas (Rebekah) Johnson of Silverhill, AL, Austin Johnson and Cory Phillips, both of Uriah, AL; two daughters, Amber Phillips
Of Uriah, AL and Catelyn (Tony) Sells of Poarch, AL; five brothers, Ronnie (Martha) Jay of Bay Minette, AL, Randy (Joyce) Jay of Davisville, FL, Roger (Amanda) Jay of Atmore, AL, Jeff (Meg) Diedtrich of Woodstock, GA and Buck (Stephne) Jay of Pensacola, FL; one sister, Sharon (Todd) Stearns of Brewton, AL; grandchildren, Pascal, Gracie, Gracelyn, Jaylen and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Friday, October 18, 2019, at 10 a.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Thurl Pearson officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Buck Jay, Jace Smith, Larry Pugh, Matt Luker, Chris Jay and Michal Jay.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chason Jay, Timothy Jay, J.T. Stearns, Larry Pugh, Jr, Levi Smith and Casey Jordan.

Family will receive friends Thursday October 17, 2019, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
