Hill Files ‘Fetal Heartbeat’ Abortion Bill
October 4, 2019
State Rep. Mike Hill of Pensacola has filed a “fetal heartbeat” bill for the 2020 legislative session that would prevent doctors from performing an abortion if fetal heartbeats are detected.
A violation would be a third degree felony for “any person who knowingly or purposefully performs or induces an abortion on a pregnant woman with the specific intent of causing or abetting the termination of the life of the preborn human being whose preborn intrauterine heartbeat has been detected.”
Hill filed a similar bill during the last session, but it was never heard in committee.

Pure unabashed politics, sir you may be a fine person, but you forgot where you come from. And why you are there. Get rid of the ME ME ME personality and put the hay down so the cows can eat. Your making them stretch,
We do hope you will be able the get 1 item passed before your voting time comes up shortly
Slow down man…you dont start at the top
May our Heavenly Father bless you Rep. Hill as you continue to take a stand for the rights of the unborn. How can anyone loving our Father be against this? This is not politics as usual, this is life and death.
Have heard it said that even when Mike Hill is in attendance at the legislature there is still an Empty Chair occupied by only the shell of an ego.
Mike, Mike, Mike……what day is it? It’s time for you to pack out and go find a real job and just vacate your ineffective office on OUR Dimes.
Put a fork in the dude, he’s DONE.
They had a Bill like this defeated in Georgia last week. Guess he feels Florida will be different.
Is you is or is you ain’t my constituents?
Lame duck
Thank you sir for doing the right thing. The evil left is tearing up any moral fabric we have left in this country. We need people like you to stand up for what is right.
Mr. Hill, you disgust everyone…ever thought about moving to Alaska and try ice fishing ….
Thank you Rep. Hill! Regardless of the outcome, someone has to have enough guts to keep this topic alive. There should always be a bill filed to keep fighting for those who cannot protect themselves. Most politicians are to weak and politically scared to address this topic. They just talk it up during election cycles in churches to get votes. Few actually follow through.
I pray your new bill sees the same fate as your previous nine.
I loved listening to you during your first campaign, until you turned into the Benny Hinn of Pensacola with your grandstanding and canned speeches. Time to memorize something new Mike.
PS – We’re still waiting on that star you promised.
Sir, there are so many whom you should ok wed disrespect to. Many. That will interfere with anything you file…never disrespect.
who keeps voting for this guy. He has never got one single bill
passed in the house. Name one single thing he has accomplished that has benefited his district. Politicians only concern Getting Re-Elected
If you want a change from all this craziness then VOTE
and not for the same ones all the time.
Go away
Another round of political grandstanding by an out of touch blowhard. How about doing something for your constituents instead of wasting more time pandering to a fraction of the population?
Too bad he is the one filing the bill, no one would entertain any thing that man has to say.
Good job Mr. Hill. Recycling the same dead bills to keep your name in the news.
