Hazel Louise Quimby Jones , 96 of Atmore, AL, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019, at her residence. She born in Vocation, AL on July 6, 1923, to the late Walter Samuel and Lizzie Mae Coley. She was a graduate of Auburn University. She was was a school teacher in her early years, then went to work as a case welfare worker with the State of Alabama where she retired from.
She is preceded by her parents; husband, Russell A. “Fuzzie” Jones and a son, Frank Powell Jones.
She is survived by her son, Russell Samuel Jones of Butler Street, AL.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
