Gas Prices Are Down Over The Past Week

October 14, 2019

Florida gas prices fell last week, but could rise again in the coming days, according to AAA, due to political tensions that caused crude prices to increase late last week.

Florida drivers are paying an average of $2.42 per gallon for regular unleaded, 6 cents less than last week, but 2 cents more than a month ago.

In Escambia County, the average price per gallon was $2.40. Three Cantonment stations were below average at $2.31 a gallon Sunday night.

Four cents per gallon higher than before Iran attacked Saudi Arabian production facilities.

It will be good when nobody cares what happens in the Middle East.

Recalling many folks saying, with great emphasis, “I WON’T buy gas when it gets to a Dollar a gallon”.
Guess they have a mule to ride or have worn out a lot of sneakers by now.

Crazy thing, among many, is how the same brand of gas station — only couple miles apart — can have different prices for a gallon of gas.

Oh well, will whip the pickup into the “convenience” store and tell the eager young attendant to “Fill ‘er UP and make sure to check the tire pressure all the way around, top off the coolant and windshield wiper fluid and tell me how the oil looks”.
