Man Wanted For Escambia County Murder

October 24, 2019

An Escambia County man was shot and killed Wednesday night, and the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office has named a suspect.

Mario Copeland (pictured left) is wanted for the homicide. He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone with details on his whereabouts should call 911.

The ECSO says Denario Jarrod James, 28, was found shot in the chest on Aquamarine Avenue.

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is still looking for one of three persons named Thursday morning as wanted for questioning only.  They have located Juanya Galloway and Xaixai Desray Gill, and they still want to talk to Javon Galloway.

Investigators believe there were multiple witnesses to the shooting that have not provided any details.

    @John:

    Morgan is not responsible for the actions of criminals who never met him.

    He is not responsible for an increase in crime rates.

    In 2005, Hurricane Katrina forced 50,000 refugees from New Orleans our way. 20,000 of them never left. 2006 was open season on cops as New Orleans gangsters asserted themselves here and were pushed back by our cops.

    In 2008, Navy Federal relocated its headquarters to Pensacola. That’s 10,000 additional jobs by itself, with more support jobs coming in because of it, no real estimate there on how many additional that would be.

    So if you could please tell me how 30,000 additional people and all the itinerate problems that come with that kind of growth are somehow Morgan’s fault?

    especially when the number of deputies has been forced to remain the same because the state and local budget allocations have not been allowed to keep pace with growth because Morgan has to fight for a 5% budget increase when population has increased by 20% or more during his tenure?

    All my questions are rhetorical; they make their point by being asked. no answer is needed.

    to john below,.. Without out that decade under Morgan the shootings and such would be 10xs as high. He keeps people like these running and hiding. Yes shootings happen but nothing gonna change that. Its when it does happen those involved run scared of the law.
