Charlotte Ellen Lamb

Mrs. Charlotte Ellen Lamb, wife of Glenn Charles Lamb of Walnut Hill, FL, and a daughter of the late Roy Wilson Reamer and Sylvia Shetron, passed away at her home at 12:40 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2019. Mrs. Lamb is now alive and in the presence of her Heavenly Father, and reunited with her beloved husband and loved ones who have gone before her.

Charlotte was born November 14, 1932, in Topeka, Kansas. She was the sixth child of 17 brothers and sisters. Her family moved to the Florida Panhandle in the 1940s, finally making their home in Molino about 1945, where she met and married the love of her life, Glenn Charles Lamb on September 18, 1954. Charlotte and Glenn raised their family of five children in Walnut Hill.

Mrs. Lamb was a devoted housewife and loving, godly mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Charlotte loved sewing, crocheting and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; parents, and siblings, Lucille Whitegon, Geraldine, Patsy, Roy Jr., Robert, Harry, and Floyd.

Mrs. Lamb is survived by her siblings, Bertha Regnier (Topeka KS), Mary “Jean” Hull (Pensacola FL), Beverly Edwards (Pensacola), Donna Ethridge (Pensacola), Arliss Stevenson (Reed Springs, MO), Shirley Simmons, Betty Carroll (CA), and Kenneth (AL); children, Charles and Angie Lamb of Newton MS, Glenda and Tim Adams of Walnut Hill, FL, Chester and Wendy Lamb of Atmore, AL, Donald and Kim Lamb of Walnut Hill, and Anthony and Lucretia Lamb of Walnut Hill; 12 grandchildren, Jason, Michelle, and Lamar Lamb, Stephanie and Sherry Lamb, Ben and Caleb Adams, Stacey Bailey, Zachary and David Lamb, James Scott, and Miranda Peterson; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Services were held at Faith Chapel North on Monday, October 14, 2019.

Burial was in Highland Baptist Church Cemetery in Molino, FL.

Pallbearers were grandchildren, Jason Lamb, Zachary Lamb, David Lamb, Eric Bailey, Bryce Peterson, and Shannon Phillips

Honoree pallbearers were Eugene Hall and Clark Ha.
