I agree with Dwayne, speeding…a lot of times there is an officer observing traffic ,there in the parking lot of the Fire Station. when drivers see an officer,it normally slows them down…..they are “Monkey see,Monkey do, their mentality is,.everyone else is getting away with it,..then they speed.I see it going to Atmore every weekend,(Yes,destination,Casino) lol…..Drivers passing me left and right, posted speed limit 55,I drive between 55,and 60,praying we dont get hit………….The chances they are taking is nuts…….55 is fast………..not fast enough for them……they have to make it home five mins earlier, lol……I wish they would think about what it is to be in an auto accident…..death ,or crippled for life…….sad………

Well it not surprising as the speed limit ous 40mph but most drivers are going at least 55 and some at going even faster. The sheriff needs to set up speed check more often on hwy 29 as very few people obey the speed limit, I know because the pass me constantly while I’m driving the posted limit.
