I agree with Mr. Rutherford, it was a lovely day, food was great. I know the Harrison family did a lot of hard work along with everyone from the First Assembly of God. Thank you so much for remembering all the First Responders on both side of the State line. I hope the First Responders honored this year kept coming back and bring another First Responder with them…Thanks to everyone who donated all the great door prizes also. Thanks to everyone again. As a retired member of the Atmore Fire Department, I would like to thank everyone who was responsible for this First Responders Appreciation Day. It was wonderful for members of all branches of emergency services to be recognized for the work they have done (retired or deceased members) and continue to do (members serving currently) for our community. The food was delicious! The entertainment was enjoyed by everyone, especially the landing and departing of the AirMed helicopter. And, it was good to fellowship with friends who were present. We appreciate the hard work that went into this special day!
