October 28, 2019
Three people have been charged after a man was shot and killed on Tiki Lane Sunday morning.
Christopher Staten, age 25 of Cantonment, was charged with homicide, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and using a firearm during a felony. Reggie Lewis and Ladarryl Paige, both of Pensacola, have been charged with homicide. All three were booked into jail without bond.
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shots fired call on Tiki Lane and Travis Street where they found Malik Tyquan Jenkins suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital where he later died.
Investigators were looking for a dark-colored sedan that may have been involved in the shooting, but the exact make and model were not known.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 436-9620 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 433-STOP.

When legal marijuana is readily available for consumers and at competitive prices, characters such as these will be out of the game.
If we would start teaching principles of business and courses on ethics and integrity in our schools, some of this killing over quality assurance and quantity discrepancies just might stop.

…these kind of crimes are on the rise..but at least these three have learned that if you don’t resist arrest , you can at least make it to your trial…
