She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eastern Stars for 53 years. Maw Maw worked hard as not only a homemaker but alongside her husband and family from timber, farming and building. Most of her days started early and ended late, however in her free time she enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, card playing, and most of all supporting her children and grandchildren and extended loved ones in area. She enjoyed horse shows and rodeos and livestock shows. It was after hurricane Ivan that Andy Peterson, livestock director at Pensacola Interstate Fair and Tony Peterson, brought Maw Maw on board to help with rebuilding of the livestock show, at which time she fed the group that was helping Andy to rebuild and continued to do so as the show grew and enjoyed it. She was also known for having many gatherings at her farm in Cantonment from Halloween Hayrides to Easter Egg Hunts, her goal and pleasure in life along with her husband Paw Paw, was for families to take time, enjoy one another, and love one another.

At this time the family would like to thank Chaplain Mark Smith (Officiating), the staff of Emerald Coast Hospice Milton, FL., the staff of Santa Rosa Medical Center, the Frenkel Family and Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds, Fraternal Order of the Eastern Star and all the friends and family for all the love and support throughout her life!
