Public intoxication is not worth an overnight trip to jail. They could not prove he was driving and got out of his vehicle and passed out..,,

Strange, the man was lying on the ground, in the road, could not tell EMS what he was doing there. He was evaluated by County Ems and then driven home! No hospital, no drug or alcohol charges, no mental health evaluation. This story seems like it is either missing some key element or there is something fishy going on.

I was driving down Hwy 31 Sunday around 2 PM and noticed someone laying on the new drainage culvert at Old Sardis Church Road. I thought it was a bit strange. They looked like they were just enjoying some rest, didn’t seem like it was an emergency situation.

That’s a dangerous place to hang out.
    Hope you’re ok.
