Lunsford Prefiles For ECUA District 5 Seat

Hope Lunsford prefiled as a Republican Thursday for the Emerald Coast Utilities Authorities District 5 for the 2020 Election.
Hope Lunsford is the wife of Escambia County Tax Collector Scott Lunsford, who is seeking reelection.

The question I would have for Mrs. Lunsford is; Are you going to put an end to the disparity in garbage rates and services between what ECUA charges in Escambia and Santa Rosa County? The ECUA provides twice a week pick up in Santa Rosa for considerably less than they charge the citizens of Escambia that elect them. The ECUA effectively underbid, and put several private carriers out of business in Santa Rosa, and the citizens of Escambia County are subsidizing this fiasco.
