Florida Gas Prices Spike

September 23, 2019

Florida gas prices surged an average of 10 cents as expected last week  after drone attacks on Saudi Arabia caused crude prices to rise.

The average price per gallon spiked 12 cents in Escambia County to $2.48 but was as low as $2.41 Sunday night in Cantonment.

Florida drivers are now paying an average price of $2.50 per gallon. Despite last week’s dime increase, the state average remains 30 cents per gallon less than this year’s highest daily price back in April.

had an opportunity to spend some time in Europe recently. 99.5% of
all personal autos were tiny . only saw one (1) pick-up truck and it
was a small 4cycl. VW. gas is sold by the liter and was $1.60 which translates
to over $6.00 per gallon. TIFWIW !

Note, a man in south Florida knocked over a lawnmower gas can, 10 oz were spilled.
The gas mongers aka speculators feel this will impact the price of gas so the cost will have to be recovered by raising the price of gas.
There is plenty of gas in Washington, with hands in each other’s pockets

Wholesalers and Retailers were quick to push up the price at the pump. They along with BIG OIL will use any speculative crisis to jack-up prices, all the while laughing as they head to the bank with their new found profits. Couldnt help but notice that many of our retailers in Cantonment worked hard to push up their pump prices by 15 cents to 17 cents per gallon.
