Shots fired everyday out here and not everyone shooting knows what they are doing. Almost shot twice in two yrs out here in the middle of the day! Both times by high powered weapons in two different places within miles of each other. Those bullets bounce off the ground and travel a good distance. Residental wooded areas are NOT shooting ranges! Glad the news has FINALLy reported on the problem out here. Its every evening and worse on the weekend. Someone is going to get killed…children are playing, people are working in their yards, riding horses and bikes. We have 5 acres and we aren’t even safe from neighbors bullets 2 streets away
The noise was probably the car crashing
I live close by. Wouldn’t think much about a gun shot at night. At 1 am most people are in bed sleeping. Hope they run out of ammo shortly where I can go back to sleep
ESCO / PPD / LEO / EMT / Fire Dept
With all the shootings, intentional targeted and just random drive-by that our area is experiencing there is no way to know if a “situation” is real or not.
LEO has to respond and be prepared for whatever may unfold.
God Bless and Protect our LEO and ALL of our First Responders.
You are our buffer between good lives and disasters.
Thank You One and ALL.
Shifko is in a rural area, could have been someone shooting at a coyote or other wild animal.

Wasn’t me. I haven’t cranked off any target practice or fireworks in quite a while.
