One Critically Injured In Early Morning Wrong-Way Crash On Highway 29

At least one person was critically injured in a crash involving a wrong-way driver early Saturday morning in Cantonment.
The accident occurred shortly after 4 a.m. on Highway 29 near Pinoak Lane, near the Grace Valley Baptist Church. One person was trapped in their vehicle until they were extricated by firefighters.
Highway 29 was completely shut down due to the accident and for a LifeFlight landing zone.
The Florida Highway Patrol investigated and has not released any additional information.
