August 14, 2019
An Escambia County man has sentenced Henry Steiger to life in prison for the second degree murder in the death of his girlfriend and mother of his child.
Steiger, 53, was convicted of the murder of Cassandra Robinson.
Robinson’s body was found July 12, 2018, inside a 55-gallon drum inside a cargo trailer located on vacant lot. She went missing in February 2018 and was reported missing by her family in early June.
Prosecutors said Steiger murdered Robinson after their daughter’s first birthday party.

But why should he rot while the taxpayers provide him with free food and housing and guards for the rest of his natural life? He should be executed and done. The subject of this story deserves the death penalty. Advocating for the death penalty is not “inappropriate” in my opinion. Have a nice day.
I hope the baby girl has a family that will tell her about her mother as she gets older. Hope he rots.
In my opinion, 2nd degree murder should be punished the same as 1st degree. There should be do degrees. It should not matter if the murder was planned in advance or happened in the heat of the bad moment. The intent was to kill a person. Therefore the punishment should be execution. The method of execution should be similar to how they killed their victims. The old methods of firing squad, gas chamber, and even the French guillotine should be used for every murder in order to prove the seriousness of the crime and show potential murderers what will happen to them if they murder. They should suffer the same way their victims did. Instead, this guy is still alive and his living expenses plus Penitentiary costs are paid for by taxpayers.
Life in prison is only the beginning of your punishment…
