Some Storms, Otherwise Hot Again

Temperatures on Monday will top out in the 90s yet again with the heat index well over 100°F in the late morning through afternoon hours. But there’s a chance of  showers and thunderstorms that will bring a little heat relief for some.

Today: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 92. Southwest wind around 10 mph. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 75. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 93. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 70. Calm wind.
