I have a lived within a mile of that bridge my whole life and I have never had one single issue during the thousands of times I’ve crossed that bridge
@Howie
The reason people cross the line at the bridge is to try and minimize the road conditions. DOT does not take care of this road.
@Paul
Why do they need a redlight in the middle of nothing? There are no crossroads there. Just a smelly creek with a lot of weeds growing.
Kingsfield Rd is insane. It’s dark and narrow. You would think with THREE schools on this road, they would pay attention.
Kingsfield Rd is pretty much a race track any time of day. Even driving @55mph(10 above the posted limit) people will pass you and sometimes give you an unpleasant one-finger wave as they go by. Add to the speed a little inattention to the task of driving and here’s what you get. Slow it down a notch, pay attention to the road instead of your phone. You’d be amazed how fast this kind of crap would reduce in frequency!
PAUL WAS JOKING…Glad nissan driver is okay.
No red light can be placed in a wooded area. The bridge is narrow and cars tend to cross over the line in this section, running people off the road. How do I know this, it has happened to me and my wife many times. Just try and maintain your vehicle as safe as possible.
Can’t speak for this person today.
No lights Paul! They just need to slow down and pay better attention to the road.
They need to put a redlight there..
