Firefighters Extinguish Kitchen Fire, Saving Home And Several Pets
June 24, 2019
Quick work by Escambia County Fire Rescue saved not only a home, but also several family pets in Gonzalez Monday evening.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish a kitchen fire in the home on Rachel Circle just before 7 p.m. They rescued cat and parakeet from the home, two dogs from the backyard and also had a second cat outside safe from the fire. There were no injuries to people or pets reported.

Well, I’m just happy my dogs, cats, and bird get to go down in history all because of a simple kitchen fire. In all seriousness, I am deeply thankful that the firemen arrived in time and stopped it before it could get any worse, including saving my kittys, puppys, and about a year old bird that hates everyone but me. Thanks so much, for saving our home!
These are my furbabies!! Thank you for your quick response and help saving our animals and home. Our home will require a lot of work to be livable again, but we are so thankful.
