Escambia Man Convicted Of Murdering Mother Of His Child

June 22, 2019

An Escambia County jury found Henry Steiger guilty of second degree murder in the death of his girlfriend and mother of his child.

Steiger, 53, will be sentenced next month for the death of Cassandra Robinson. He faces up to life in prison.

Robinson’s body was found July 12, 2018, inside a 55-gallon drum inside a cargo trailer located on vacant lot. She went missing in February 2018 and was reported missing by her family in early June.

Prosecutors said Steiger murdered Robinson after their daughter’s first birthday party.
