Hundreds Of Students Take Part In Battle Of The Books (With Results)

Hundreds of Escambia County students took part in the eighth annual Battle of the Books Saturday at Washington High School.
Over 600 students on 102 teams read books from the Sunshine State Young Readers Awards list and Florida Teens Read list over the past school year.
Participants competed by answering five rounds of eight questions Saturday.
Top teams from each grade level were as follows:
