Janice Gilley was appointed as County Commissioner of district 5, after four of the County Commissioners were indicted in the WD Childers/ Willie Junior scandal. Mrs Gilley did a great job for district 5. And I’m sure she will do a great job for the citizens of Escambia County.

Holy smokes…185,000 salary in Escambia County? Didn’t think it was possible. if I made that much money I wouldn’t need a car allowance!

@ The Eye : Would sure expect her position’s pay to be well
above average. I also guess a yuuge salary isn’t what motivates
Her the most ! A sign on her office door that says “PROLLY NOT”
would give pause to the Fab 5’s and any other ring bearers !

If she wants to keep that well over the average Escambia county paycheck, she will need to take the word no out of her vocabulary or the FAB 5 will show her the door.

This appears to be a very solid hire. Local Gal from
    mid-County. Got a feeling She’ll stand toe-to-toe with
the GOB’s and give-em hell if needed. Good luck and
Escambia County sure needs a strong, firm hand.
