ECSO Looking For Dollar General Armed Robbery Suspect

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect in the April armed robbery of a Dollar General Store.
The ECSO said Tuesday that at 8:11 p.m. on April 25, the suspect entered the Dollar General at 4023 Pine Forest Road, just north of Nine Mile Road, and demanded money for the clerk. He fled the scene with the cash from the register.
The suspect was described as being about 6-feet tall and weighing 180 to 200 pounds. Further details have not been provided.

No, because the ECSO did not release that information.

One person in the store with a concealed weapons permit and a sidearm could have ended his career quick, fast, and in a hurry.
I’ve been to that location several times and never felt unsafe. The problem is that these thugs would rather rob than get a job. They should have better security there as it has been robbed quite a bit.
I’ve wondered why they stuck a store right there. Hasn’t that store been robbed a few times now? It’s tucked back in the trees, poor lighting, never has looked safe to me.
