Authorities are investigating after a burned-out muscle car was found on Cedartown Road in Molino Sunday morning.
The Dodge Challenger was already completely destroyed when it was discovered on an empty stretch of the dirt road.
There was no immediate word on the circumstances surrounding the fire as the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office continues their investigation.
The Molino Station of Escambia Fire Rescue responded to the call about 8:12 a.m.

Just another day in “North Escambia”
no problem… my dad has a really good set of tools…
There goes any GOOD evidence….
Needs a lil bit of tape
REGARDING:
“How can a vehicle burn so long, and no one sees it,smells it?_
There is not a lot of traffic down that road late at night and no houses very close.
David for paving it
WOW! How can a vehicle burn so long, and no one sees it,smells it?Hears it?Sup with that?
Lil Gorilla duct tape and some super glue and will be good as new…
He burned that car up to get out of paying a high car note and insurance
Notes rubbed togather causing friction lighting fire.
Looks like someone started the fire from inside the car, probably stolen.
If you can’t dodge it, Ram it, if you can’t ram it, burn it to the ground and buy a Ford
Looks like the spare was put into the driver seat to make sure it made a really hot fire quickly. Not much burns like the interior of these new plastic vehicles. Interesting how the whole rear end of the car seems to have burned then fallen off like a charred sheet onto the ground.
Guessing high likelihood it wasn’t the registered owner who burned the car.
Might have been stolen….
Dumb Ole Dirty Goose Egg… looks a little rotten.
Probably couldnt afford the car payment anymore
It was a V6 Challenger. Assuming no one was hurt, this might actually be a good thing.
You know most of that will buff right out!
