Weather Alert: Tornado Watch

The is a tornado watch in effect until 10 a.m.

A line of potentially severe storms will move eastward through the area into Sunday morning. The biggest threats will be damaging winds, tornadoes and large hail. The timing on the map above is estimated by the National Weather Service.

Sunday: Showers and thunderstorms before 10am, then a slight chance of showers between 10am and 1pm. Some of the storms could be severe. High near 77. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 20 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 44. Northwest wind 5 to 15 mph.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 74. North wind 5 to 10 mph.

Monday Night: Clear, with a low around 45. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 82. East wind around 5 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 53. South wind around 5 mph.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 79. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. South wind around 10 mph.

Thursday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 80. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
