Three People Killed In Fiery Crash Near Jay

Three people were killed in a fiery crash just outside Jay early Saturday morning.

Names of the victims have not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.

The Florida Highway Patrol said a Ford F150 was traveling north on Chumuckla Highway when the driver drifted across the center line into the path of a southbound Jeep Wrangler.

The vehicles collided head-on, causing both vehicles to becoming engulfed in flames.

The driver and a passenger in the Jeep, and the driver of the pickup were all pronounced deceased at the scene of the 12 a.m. crash.

The FHP investigation into the crash is continuing. The Jay and Allentown volunteer fire department, EMS and the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office also responded.

    Prayers to the families of these three souls that were killed in this accident may God give you his peace that only he can as you have to go thru all this tragedy and @Barbara no one is called home before their time God’s timing is not our timing it belongs to Him and Him alone as to when our time is up.

    I Hope this will at least bring some people to Christ.It can be too late in a twinkling of an eye.Please believe this.Please be ready at all times.I am glad that I have lived long enough to be a believer.

    Wow!!! How sad…My Dad lives in Allentown …Hope it wasn’t him.I doubt he was because that’s late for him to be out…Prayers for the families of all involved.
