More Earthquakes Today
April 11, 2019
There were more earthquakes in the North Escambia area today according to scientists.
The US Geological Survey says a 2.8 earthquake occurred at 3:11 p.m. near Big Escambia Creek in Escambia County, AL.
Another quake, a 2.5 magnitude, occurred in about the same area at 11:33 a.m.
The Geological Survey of Alabama said there were three earthquakes, but only two have been announced by the USGS.

Yes felt the house shift a bit at 11:30 but was not around later in the day. Was waiting for this report.
In my opinion Crist Plant (Gulf Power/ next energy) should not be allowed to run another gas line from this area. and the Public Service Commission needs to be notified. Not fair to reach just over the state line in Alabama then run lines through the area.
These earthquakes are NOT normal.
There are old gas lines under houses and the one 3.1 was enough to start doing damage. It truly felt like a truck hit the house, and a few object on what not shelf shifted slightly the other day.
PVC water lines aren’t made to shift and jolt like that.
This is the 6 or 7 earthquake this year no telling when the next one will be
I sure thought I heard something about 30 minutes ago
