Extension Service Hosting Open House, Plant Sale

The Escambia County Extension Service is celebrating Earth Day week with an open house at 3740 Stefani Road in Cantonment.
Escambia Extension will host an Open House and Plant Sale on Saturday, April 27. The event will feature gardening demonstrations, an introduction to various 4-H youth programs, a healthy eating seminar, cooking demonstrations, discussions about coastal sustainability practices and livestock management, and a vegetable plant sale. Attendees will also learn about training sessions, volunteer activities and the role of Extension in the community.

This event is well worth going to. I bought 3 flowering bushes at their sale 2 years ago. They have tripled in size and start blooming in Feb. They even bloom during the hottest days of the summer. I can only imagine how well the edible plants will do. I will spend today digging holes, lol.
