Cantonment Man Climbed Through Window, Sexually Battered Woman, Police Say

April 6, 2019

A Cantonment man has been charged in connection with allegedly climbing through a window and sexually battering  a woman last year.

Teremis Marchristopher Boykin, 27, was charged with sexually battery, false imprisonment, battery and burglary with assault or battery.

The victim attended a party thrown by Boykin last November, and he asked to go home with her but she refused, according to an arrest report. At some point after the party, Boykin allegedly climbed through the victim’s apartment window and sexually assaulted her. He then “snuggled” with her before leaving the apartment, according to Pensacola Police.

The victim did not report the incident until February because she was thinking if she didn’t tell anyone it would all go away and she would forget about it, the arrest report states.

Boykin told police the two previously had a romantic relationship, and they had planned before the party for him to spend the night.

Boykin was arrested this week. He remained in the Escambia County Jail with bond set at $302,500.

Wow just wow how can a woman get mad at a man because he doesn’t do something that she likes and put charges on him 3 months after the incident our justice system is screwed!!!!!

That is a ridiculously high bond amount if he is not a convicted felon for a previous crime.

I worked with him years back and have seen him from time to time since then. I was shocked when seeing this because I have never imagined him as the type to do something like this. Not saying he did or didn’t but he has always been super sweet and very respectful. Hopefully they find out the truth, whatever it may be.

What evidence could they possibly have had after 3 months! People need to protest his release if there wasn’t any. How could their been any after 3 months! Ridiculous!

3 month’s bah, how about all these metoo women (actresses) that waited 20 year’s to ruin some man’s career after they did their interview on the casting couch? Everybody knows that in Hollywood women have slept their way to the top forever. Funny how they waited till they “made it” and were rich before they complained.

Prior BAD CHOICES and who knows what all going on led to this.
One thing is very clear and that is the Real Factual Truth will never be known.
This world is in a MESS.

At some point you have to be accountable!!! Ma’am3 months. It doesn’t take that long to realize you’ve been assaulted. 2 seconds in you know. Sexual assault can’t do a disappearing act. Accept your wrong decisions and move on.

I wasn’t there when this supposedly happened but I have known this young man all his life. He is educated and hard working. He has always been a gentleman to me and my girls. I am praying for him, his family and the female accuser.

Man, it is scary to know how easy it is to ruin someone’s life now-a-days. I sure hope the actual truth can be figured out some way. If she’s making it up, hopefully there will be amicable texts in the days following the alleged incident, and he hasn’t deleted them. Otherwise, welcome to prison and a life-long place on the sex offender list…

She said it happened against her will.
    He said it happened consensually.

Unless she is a far more believable witness than he is, ties go to the defendant.

We all need bodycams or 360 degree wrist recorders to store what is said and done around us to settle potential disputes like this.

    David for truth

How in the world could a jury convict this man? She waited three months to report this so called “sexual battery”. This sounds more like a jilted, jelous x lover to me

Totally ridiculous account by victim what happened. She waited 3 months to report the incident hoping “ it would go away. “. I believe his statement:,,they dated – broke up – she goes back to his house and they make up – three months later the relationship goes sour again – right now she is mad and retaliates! For a judge to set a bond this high for a stupid story like this makes you wonder…..
