A/C Unit Stolen From The Miracle League

Authorities are searching for a thief that stole an air conditioning unit from the Miracle League of Pensacola at the John R. Jones Jr. Athletic Complex on Nine Mile Road.
The full-size unit was taken sometime last week from a fenced area, according to the league. It provided air conditioning for the main Miracle League Building which houses a concession stand, restrooms and a storage area.
Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 436-9620 or Crime Stoppers (850) 433-STOP.
The nonprofit Miracle League of Pensacola provides physically and mentally challenged children and adults an opportunity to play baseball, softball and t-ball just like anyone else, all in a spirited and secure environment.

It’s a sad day when you to broke and sorry of an individual to steal from special needs kids. Pls start a go fund to get it replaced. I have a kid I love a lot been playing baseball there for years…….
Sounds like the work of some of the local Meth Heads! They have no shame. I’ve dealt with them stealing from me before to finance their next fix. Lowest form of life!!
I am so sorry this has happened to a special group of people that work so hard to have a nice place for special needs kids to play ball. That is cowardly for anyone to steal from a group like this. My sister, Donna Thompson (deceased), is the main one to come up with the idea of having this park. Her and her husband, Larry, worked so hard and long hours to see that is was built. Whoever stole this a/c unit should think about how hard people have worked to have this park. I hope you are caught soon and punished severely. Remember God was watching you when you was stealing it.
Q: What kind of loser does this? A: The same type of low-lifes who steal copper from the a/c units at public and private schools and who steal from charity food banks.
Whoever did this is lower than a snake in a wagon wheel rut. Boy do i hope they catch them somebody call crime stoppers you know who did it.
It takes the lowest of the low to steal from an organization that provides services to the special needs population.
