I agree with Ronnie and Debbie F.

I’ve driven in that same exact location for years. A few months ago a Red Fox ran into the roadway in front of me. Since I don’t like killing anything, I avoided the fox and did slightly veer off the road. I took my time getting back on the road, but sometimes people can act too quickly and overcorrect. I don’t know if this is the case with Wendell (don’t know him). Who knows if someone didn’t cross the center line, a fox, dog or cat appeared in the roadway, a person walking and they get run over there more often than you hear about, and there are many different scenarios. Stop assuming that you know what happened. Think about how you would feel if that was you laying in the hospital with a broken neck or it be someone close to you. Pray for Wendell, and not let your negativity hurt him or his family and friends.

If you don’t have anything nice to say then keep your comments to yourself.

I attended school with Wendell Graham from Jim Allen, Ransom Middle and Tate High. We graduated together in “1976″. Like Ronnie and Debbie Frederick said you people do not know the circumstances of what really happened only Wendell does. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and him to recovery. Wendell just lives right down east of where the accident happened.

If they would put the speed limit signs in the right place it might make a difference. Let’s make it 35 mph on the straightaway, and leave it 45 mph through the S turn. Some real smart people thought that up.

Everyone is so quick to speak bad about people when they don’t even know the person they speak about. It is those same people talking poorly that fly down roads in their sports vehicles without a care, running people off roads and laughing about it. Wendell has been driving these roads for 40 years and I know he was not being careless or speeding. Nobody stops to think that a 60 year old may have attempted to avoid an animal or something in the road that maybe one of you careless people threw out your window. Maybe he caught a dip in the road and it pulled the truck off the road. Maybe you all should think before you go posting your ignorance. Accidents happen and this is a terrible thing. His neck is broken and all you all can do is post stupid remarks. Remember: it could have been any of us. God bless you Wendell!

OMG I must have misread, he was seriously injured.

    Prayers for your recovery Wendell.

All these negative comments about what he was doing. I have to say I know Wendell and first of all he doesn’t even know how to text. Second of all, even if he was let me ask you all this if this was your family would you want people to talk so negative about them ??? His family needs prayers not negativity so as my Mom used to say if you don’t have anything nice to say then just be quite. No one knows what happened and just put yourself in his and his families place and start being nicer. This is what’s wrong with the world people are always quick to think the worst of someone, for all we know a dog could have ran out in front of him.

I attended school 3rd grade through graduation with Wendell.

I am glad that he was not seriously injured.

been driving that section of kingsfield road for well in excess of 20 years and never even ran a tire off the shoulder. Maybe it’s because I pay attention to the task of DRIVING?

One speed bump every 2 miles will make the drivers pay attention or take a different road. Speed bumps don’t have to be high, they can be subtle reminders to pay attention.

this area has grown in population over the years and is still growing. its time to get the city, county involved. we need more police patrol, its time to get the semis off of kinsfield and use old chemstrand instead. a lot of the traffic thru here are not residents, they use it for shortcuts. maybe with another sheriff living on Donegal drive now we can get more expert info on what and how to slow down the problem. there has been at least 4 killed on kingsfield since we moved in aug 2017, that’s a high number. also the noise can get so loud from some of the vehicles racing by.
    thanks for the time.

Most of our roads are not dangerous. It’s drivers not paying attention, drunk, texting, or something else. I’m sure that road jumped up and rolled his truck over. It’s not the road, it’s not the truck, car, etc. It’s the DRIVER. Unless a default in the vehicle that caused the driver to loose control.

Jennifer is right, Kingsfield has become extremely dangerous. I don’t know what this driver was doing or if he was speeding, but speed and reckless driving are rampant on Kingsfield. That curve is no problem if you’re paying attention and driving safely.

There is no problem with that road..inattention, speed , and sometimes medication , opioids , and other bad drivers …

Something has got to give out here on Kingsfield…
