Tate Gets Big Wins Over Washington; Tate Freshmen Take Pace

Tate 9, Washington 1

The Tate Aggies beat Washington 9-1 Thursday night.

Tate’s Raymond Lafleur drove in three with a homer in the first inning.

Darrien McDowell earned the win on the mound for Tate, going three innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out three. Jordan Jarman threw four innings in relief, earning the last dozen outs to earn the save.

For Tate: Lafleur: 3-4, R, 3RBI; Mason Land 2-3, 3R, RBI; Hunter McLean 2-3, 2R, RBI; Cole Fryman R; RBI; Jadon Fryman 1-3, R.

Tate and Washington will square off again Friday night at 7:00. Before the game, the Aggies will celebrate their 1998 state championship team.

Tate 12, Washington 0 (JV)

Tate’s junior varsity earned a 12-0 shutout victory over Washington 12-0 Thursday.

Tate’s JV will face Washington again Friday afternoon.

Tate 6, Pace 0 (Freshmen)

Josiah Glodfelter shut down Pace, throwing a complete-game shutout and leading Tate Aggies Freshman to a 6-0 victory over Pace Thursday.

Saxon Hill and Paul Whitson had three hits each to lead the Tate Aggies Freshmen.

Glodfelter allowed three hits and no runs while striking out three in seven innings.

The Tate Freshmen will be back in action Monday against Gulf Breeze.
