Nora Knowles

On March 26, 2019 Nora Knowles age 82, received her angel wings. Nora was fondly known to many as Nana. She was blessed to have been a stay at home wife and mother. Her greatest joy was being a wife, mother and grandmother. She loved children and was a Nana to many. She was a warm and loving person who enjoyed camping, needlework, gardening, her cats and thrift store shopping.

In March of 2010 she lost her husband Frankie who was the love of her life and best friend. Then in March of 2013, she lost her grandson Branden Penegar. Today there is a joyous reunion in heaven. Nora had a strong Christian faith and loved God.

She is survived by her daughters, Tammie Penegar and Rhonda Lawson and grandsons, Tyler Penegar, Ryan Porter and Rhen Porter.

Brother Michael Ramsey and daughter Tammie Penegar will be sharing words of comfort and praise.

Serving as pallbearers were Tyler Penegar, Ryan Porter, Rhen Porter, Elbert Penegar, Royce Frederick, David Meredith.

Funeral services were held March 29, 2019, at Faith Chapel North.

Interment was at Cottage Hill Baptist Church.
