Burks Throws Complete Game Shutout As Tate Beats Pine Forest 15-0

Abbie Burks threw a complete game shutout Thursday night at the Tate Lady Aggies beat Pine Forest 15-0.

Burks led the Aggies in the circle going four innings, allowing four hits, no hits, no walks and striking out four.

Cam Wolfenden and Ryleigh Cawby led Tate with three hits each.

Wolfenden went 3-4 with three RBIs; Cawby was 3-4 with three runs and two RBIs. Also for Tate: Hannah Halfacre 1-2, 2R; Gabby Locke 2-4, 4R, 4RBI; Lilly Locke 1-1, 2RBI; Madison Holland 2-2, 2R, 2RBI; Taylor Noack R; Courtney Adams R; Abbie Burks 1-2, R.

    Not bashing anyone with that comment as I know, and cheer for most of the girls that play for Tate. They are all very good and they have a great team. Not their fault the rest of their division is terrible. Just would like to see someone in their district that they can’t beat with their subs.
